OVP Warns Public Against Unauthorized Emails, Flags Suspicious Communications

MANILA — The Office of the Vice President issued a public advisory Tuesday warning the public against email correspondence not originating from its official government address, amid apparent attempts by unauthorized parties to impersonate the agency.

The OVP said [email protected] is its sole official email address for all government communications, and that any correspondence from other email addresses or platforms carries no connection to or authorization from the office.

“The public is advised to exercise caution and report any suspicious communications claiming to represent the Office,” the advisory read.

The OVP did not identify specific individuals or groups behind the unauthorized communications, nor did it disclose the volume or nature of complaints that prompted the warning.

The advisory, dated March 10, 2026, comes as the Office of Vice President Sara Duterte remains at the center of a politically charged impeachment process.

The public may verify official OVP communications by checking whether correspondence originates from the [email protected] domain.

Suspicious messages purportedly from the office may be reported directly to the OVP.
